Jesper a Danish agricultural mechanic has joined us as part of a three-month AGCO exchange program. Jesper is from a Danish town called Kiback where he has been fully trained in Fendt and Massey Ferguson machinery.
For owners Adrian & John this is a fantastic opportunity. There is a vast shortage in mechanics and at our busiest time over Harvest Jesper’s experience has helped him to fit in and be a valued member of our team. It is a win win situation, as in Denmark at the moment it is Winter, their quiet time.
After working with Cobram Farm Equipment for 3 months, Jesper will travel in Australia for a month with other exchange mechanics and then return to his job in Denmark.
Other Danish mechanics participating in this AGCO exchange program have been placed at Shepparton, Colac, Ballarat and New Zealand.
This is Cobram Farm Equipments first experience with the exchange program and we believe it to be a great opportunity for all involved.
